I grab the smaller and lighter SR9C over my XDM45C many days but my reasons are not what you would think. I was a moron when I ordered my supertucks and ordered right handed holsters when I intended to wear at 5 O clock so I'm actually stuck carrying at 1 O clock and I have read one too many threads about guys blowing their junk off to take any chances so I pack the one that has an external safety.
The only Difference between the vanquished and victorious is resolve.
Ignorance is correctable, stupid aint.
It's peanutbutter jelly time
Work ( M-F. 6am-5pm) Taurus pt709 it conceals well
Weekends LCR 357 or SW sd 40
Kahr CM9 for everthything but work...
Work is a Kershaw blackout assisted opener, thinking about a small pistol to replace it.

Have Fun and Shoot Straight !!
I've been carrying my LCP way too much I really need to go back to carrying my XD sub-compact!

Almost always a Glock 27.
Occasionally a Glock 23, S&W J-Frame .38, and/or Seecamp .32
The Glocks have tritium night sights, and the J's have CTC Laser Grips
- Glock 26 probably 75% of the time - or pretty much all the time, and every time I can wear a sweatshirt. Maybe more this year, I'm getting better at hiding it.
- LCP 24% of the time. This is a great little gun.
- Wife's P238 1% of the time. I'm a huge fan of the P238. I shoot it well. Alas, it's my wife's, she is also a huge fan of the gun, shoots it well, it's hers, and she is "very" possessive of it.
I want a P938 if they get good reports, or if I don't like it, my own P238. I'd like a Rohrbaugh R9S but it's cost holds me back.
“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety), by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” by H. L. Mencken
Glock 27........Oh! It's custom alright.....customized to me. All of my Glocks are custom in ways. None of my CC choices could be considered 'top of the line'. Thing is.....they just need to fulfill a need and a specific job. Defensive weapons is one of those things that doesn't come down to politics or upper class, middle class, or no-class. Just like criminals target anyone. I personally like being a member of the 'no-class' survivor. Knowing I'm the underdog causes me to work harder with what I have than those who have but are yet complacent in that fact. If my adversaries would faint at the sight of gold, I'd buy an ounce or two. Fact is.....my adversaries could care less. Less is where I like to be I reckon. If I had gold it might make me a prime target. Without it, I have power and the element of surprise. High dollar won't get you a place in heaven or the front seat on the bus. Everything the Pharaohs of Egypt had is still here. Wealth and impressive things are only for the worldly. For those whom decide to live, worldly things are a weakness and they bring evil. My tools remain simple and for good reasons. I am the only one who needs to be impressed with my tools. Anything that gets me to the next day is 'high end' in my opinion. Knowing how to utilize my choices in tools is what's actually priceless. That and life itself. I've never been accused of choosing something less than I could live with, and never been in the position of choosing something I couldn't live without.
light clothing lately, so usually the Ruger SP101 for OWB carry.
LCR mostly, but lately I've been getting into carrying my little kahr p380
