Kahr PM9 at the range just finished 1000 rounds!

I have really learned to appreciate the Kahr PM9, I just completed 1000 rounds through the PM9 at the range today and I must report the PM9 has had no malfunctions since new, that right 1000 rounds and no problems.

I was at 7 yards shooting and I was doing pretty well hitting the thumb tacks that held the target up.

I carry the PM9 AIWB in a High Noon Hidden Alley Holster, or a Remora, or in some pants and shorts pocket carry in an Uncle Mikes #3. This gun is a winner in my opinion.

I am thinking of purchasing another Kahr in 45acp either a CW45 or P45.

Great to hear! I don't have nearly that many through mine, but love it just the same. Still, no malfunctions at all! Enjoy !

You must be mistaken, all Kahrs explode upon shooting

I love my CW45. Easy to carry and once I quite trying to shoot TulaAmmo through it, it hasn't had a hiccup at all.

    Good deal.

Now, get a new recoil spring post haste. Per Kahr, the recoil spring on the PM9 needs to get replaced every 1000-1500 rounds, depending on who you talk to over there.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

Small correction, the recoil spring should be replaced ~1000 rounds for a carry weapon. Feel free to order a new one for carry and use the old one for the range until it gives you problems.

I also have fired 1000 rounds and at Kahr's suggestion replaced the recoil spring. Lot of comments about this in one of the Kahr blogs,

I sold my Walther ppk to get the Kahr and carry in a leather pocket holster

They really are good guns you put the conceal ability and the accuracy and that fantastic consitent trigger wow really good gun.

I have the TP45 it is the most accurate carry gun I have and for a sudo full size it conceals pretty good.

    Great report keep on shooting.

Nice to hear. Just finished about 300 rounds thru my CM9 and absolutely no malfunctions. One of the best CC guns around. I carry in either an Blackhawk pocket or an Uncle Mike IWB. Looking to get a Kydex for my next IWB.

The key to self defense is "Bang, bang, bang" and not "Bang, bang, click". For price I shoot a 22 and get 10 duds per 100 rounds (winchester).

Every time that puppy jams I realize why 22's aren't SD rounds.

And what make .22 is it that jams so often? My Walther P22 has not jammed since new when I changed to CCi Stingers.

How is your hand holding up? My Kahrs are all mid size or larger. I imagine the little PM9 works you a bit harder.

I don't find the recoil in the PM9 to be bad, I usually shoot 100-200 rounds when I go to the range.
