I purchased a Glock 26 last Monday because I needed a new ccw. I usually carry a Beretta 9000s but wanted something a little smaller. I originally was looking at the PX4 sub-compact (I love Beretta) but on a whim, ended up with the Glock. WOW! What a pistol!! I thought I was pretty accurate with my Beretta but I was dead on with my new 26 with out a single FTF or FTE through 200 rounds! Now I get why Glock people love their guns and I'm now one of them!!

Congrats on the purchase. I have mine with me as I type. After the 26 i picked up a G19 for colder weather. Anyone taking bets on how long untill his next one.

Glock is the best weapon you can own. I have had my G19 since 1994. I love it . Congrats.
what I love about them is the way the g26 fits in your hand. the first time you pick one up it feels solid for a 19oz gun and it fits my hand like it was made for it. the 5 lb sharp trigger snap with out all the creep that 8 lbs trigger have is heven

I switched to carrying a 17 about a year and a half ago after carrying 1911's for years. I miss my Nighthawks, but the Glock just works better for me.
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
