Don't get to the LGS near as often as I'd like to, but with the internet I still keep from having withdrawals.

We have a Scheel's in the local mall, so I like to go quite a bit. It definitely doesn't help that Gander Mountain is next to the grocery store I go to, so I usually stop there to drool before getting groceries. And to add to the issues, the newest local shop is less than a mile from my house!

On occasion I go on a road trip that hits a few shops including Precision Sports, Midwestern Shooters Supply (both local shops our WI guys might recognize) and then on to Cabela's.

Honestly, when I show up I'm surprised they don't offer me a hanky so I don't get any drool on anything.

I have three shops that I frequent and I try to hit each one once a month. One of them has a very active consignment counter and I could hit that one every day if I had time.

You can indeed. I do that often as well.

My local gun shop of 48 years is closing I've been in withdrawls since Jan when they quit buying new guns, what's a addict to do...next closest in more than a half hour away unless you count academy and pawn shops...

A girl that sits next to me mentioned something at the beginning of the semester. I said "I don't bother you while you look at nail polish and swimsuits, so don't bother me while I look at guns."

One guy that sits a few rows behind me came up and asked what I was building (it was a Brownells day), so I told him about my AR project, and, among other things we discussed (EDC piece, ammo choices, holster choices), he brought the WV DNR public shooting range a few minutes away from campus to my attention.

I "shop" all the time. Always looking to see what's new or different. When my wife is with me I get the "you don't need another gun" remark, to which I answer "it's not a question of need"! Besides, I don't think you can have too many guns!
    Cheers!

I window shop on line every day. It's only when I'm getting serious about a purchase that I go to the LGS to see how a gun feels in hand and also to check prices.

Sometimes my LGS is competitive and they get my money, sometimes not.
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

I visit my LGSs at least once a week. Infact one is a pawn shop that sells both new and used and they change inventory often so I always go to that one at least once a week on my *lunch break* to see if anything new or used has come in God Bless
