Every chance I get. I'm about to leave for my "circuit". I stop at a lgs called "Midwestern shooters supply" then hit Cabela's and gander mountain gun world. Lotsa fun.

Our SRO (school resource officer) who loves guns, too...works out of my office.
I pass two gun shops on the way home from work.

I like to go at least once a week. One of my LGS has a lot of firearms on consignment so you never know what they will have.

With my AR build, I've been looking at BCM, Brownells, DD, and PSA on a daily basis. I browse Buds and Impact Guns once or twice a day, and then any other sites when I get bored. The people that sit behind me in one of my lecture classes might think I'm crazy, depending on how they were raised. I've just about given up on the local stores just because they don't have anything I haven't seen a million times. One is good for Mosin Nagants and Enfields, I'll probably visit him if I ever feel like buying a No. 4 or M44.
