Lucky if living in the US

Just checking out the prices on the internet. You guys living in the US are very lucky when it comes to prices. Compared to the Philippines at least.

Para Ordnance P14-45 Limited US- 1289 PHILS- 2045
    Ruger LCP US- 379 PHILS-1045
Remington Golden Saber 9mm US- 0.50 PHILS- 2.51
    Glock 17 US-499 PHILS-1400

I could have twice as many guns. And shoot twice as much.

I guess I should have said prices for guns and ammo. Everything else is cheaper here.

I am quite sure most of us are VERY happy to be living in the U.S. Good luck out there.

Those are pretty steep prices, BUT I spent $850.00 on a snow blower this Winter and you didn't have to buy one of those.

    LOL that's awesome.

There are lots of holster makers here on this site. Snoop around, you'll find a good one.

Like I said, golden sabers are around 2.50 dollars. Hornady is also very expensive. But if you provide your used shell/casing it only costs 18 cents to reload. Is that expensive? Basically, if it comes from the states, it is very expensive.

I agree, I am lucky to be living in the US.
    I have concealed carry.
I can have magazines & ammo delivered to my door.
I can shoot in my backyard.

Uh, a US dollar is ca. 42 PHP Pesos at today's exchange rate. Are you sure about those prices in PHP Pesos? I'd snap up an
LCP for PHP 1045. Twenty bucks US sounds pretty darn good.

I'm a tad puzzled by the term PHILS-- slang maybe-- which according to your chart seems to exchange at about
3 to 1. I've no idea what that refers to.

Mrs. H operates (with family in Australia and distant cousins in the Philippines as employees) a bed and breakfast in Batanes.
She handles the reservations (thanks to the web, e-mail and other modern gadgets), and we get many international customers. I'm puzzled by the exchange rates you are using. Neither of us understand what that PHILS is referring to.

Like I said, 1 PHP = 0.02331 US as of a few moments ago.

Please enlighten me about this in case we ever get a customer who makes use of that term. Thanks.
If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
