You sold your S&W J frames?

I could never part with my S&W J frames.

I sold them because I found other weapons that I felt fit me better. You can't take them with you so better to sell them and buy something I will use rather than something that collects dust in my safes. Like the 1911.

Same reason I sold my Corvette. Rather pass it on to someone that would enjoy it and take care of it.

For all of you smith guys that think I lost my marbles, or that I have committed a mortal error, I have atoned for my sins by making another purchase with the j-frame funds of which I will reveal sometime next week when it arrives. It is something I always wanted and I am sure you will approve.

I'll be waiting on those pics, sounds rather captivating.

I'm only lukewarm on my Smith J 442, and would likely set it free if a pristine D frame Colt came along at a good price. That stupid black hole above the cylinder release just makes me ill every time I think about it.

AZ, after reading someone sold their Smiths and 1911s because they loved their Glock and Ruger more I would normally call them names that would get me several more demerits here on this site. However, the fact that you have a Cobra and your Glock is chambered in 10mm saved me from a potential banning from this site.

    Cool

Can't blame you for wanting something that fits you better.

My problem is I can't bring myself to get rid of anything. I love them all. Of course not all at once.

Sounds like you made a good decision based upon your needs and outlook.

Those Colt DA revolvers are sweet beasts, and the LCR looks to be my next revolver purchase.

As much as I like the revolvers that you kept. I think you will buy a J frame in the near future. You just got to have at least 1 J Frame Smith in your carry rotation.
