    Accuracy is great
    function is great
Trigger pull= 2 men and a boy. the double action pull must weight over 13 lbs + and the trigger pull is VERRRy long. The agent who was issued the pistol stated it was around 17 lbs.
I don't think you are talking about the same gun as the OP.

The OP specified the HK P2000sk with LEM trigger.

From the HK website.......... Heckler & Koch - USA

"The P2000 SK is available with Law Enforcement Modification (also known as Combat Defense Action) trigger system introduced in 2001 on the USP Compact "LEM" (Law Enforcement Modification) model. This unique pre-cocked hammer system combines the advantages of a cocked striker component (constant level of trigger pull and short trigger travel from first to last round fired) with a double action hammer system. The LEM/CDA trigger pull has been reduced to 7.3 - 8.5 pounds of pressure (32.5 - 37.8 Newtons), compared to 12 - 15 pounds (53.4 - 66.7 N) found on many conventional double action pistols. Optional adjustment by an HK certified armorer can bring the trigger pull into the 5.5 pound (24.5 N) range."

No brainer trade IMO. I have the P2Ksk .40 v3 (SA/DA) and absolutely love it! German engineering at it's finest.

If you like consistent trigger pull (like on a glock) you will definately want the lem.

I'm not a fan of HK's LEM trigger but I love the P2000SK. I'd make that trade an either get use to the trigger or convert it.

Just an update guys, I did make the trade. I am freaking HAPPY! It has the LEM V2 trigger and is an absolute pleasure so far dry firing. I stripped it down and cleaned/lubed it up and I can see what everyone is talking about when they say HK over engineers. the quality and attention to detail on this gun just blows me away. I still like my G26, however after I get this thing out and shoot it this will enter carry rotation. I am excited about expanding my horizons into the .40 realm. Also, it fits the same Remora holster I have for the G26. (bonus) Thanks for sending me in the right direction on this trade.

    P2000SK. SK=sub kompact.

if it had the mag release where God and John Browning intended it to be it would be perfect.

One of the most important modifications needed for this pistol (HK P2000sk), is to purchase the HK45C extended mag release and swap them out. I purchased my HK45C mag release directly from HK and installed in on my "SK" in less than 10 min.

This is an excellent pistol! I have the same pistol (HK P2000sk .40), but in Light LEM

    Smart trade; ENJOY

Not sure why I always heard negative things about the HK/Walther mag release. I can work it just like a normal mag release with my thumb. I am a lefty and this gun is so friendly. I love the constant trigger and the reset is very decent. I haven't even shot this one yet and I am already wanting a full size to go with it............

Because people are morons. I can release a mag from my Walther faster than any of my other pistols. You don't have to turn the gun and look, change your grip, or anything else that people do when using a gun with the release button.
