    642 to carry IWB

I am looking for a IWB holster that is tuckable for my S&W642. I sometimes have to carry with my shirt tail tucked in. I use a Blackhawk soft IWB when I can cover with a shirt tail. I also generally carry appendix position but open to others. 5-11 160lbs. Chime in if you have some suggestions

This will be my summer carry outfit. I use a P239 and VMII for heavier clothing times. Thanks.

You might look into the Remora Tuckable holster.

Check out Side Guard Holsters. I have the Tuck Snap model for my 637 and it works very well.

FWIW - I used to carry a 642 in a FIST #1. Not tuckable, but I'm sure they make a tuckable IWB holster. Most major manufacturers have a tuckable holster these days.

I got a high noon IMB for my 642 and it carries just great for me at 0400 hours. However I mostly carry pocket carry now. But I suggest getting something thin due to cylinder thickness. I had the leather snaps on IWB holster but have gone back to the metal clip as in my high noon...in fact I'm fixin to put up for sale my 3 milt sparks stuff for glock 23 and glock 26. The 23 is sold and the 26 also goes in a high noon holster.

I do like those grip on pogp2 642. If u read this where did u get those?
The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

I would be interested in the VMII for the 26 if you want to sell. PM me with price. Thanks

Those are round butt boot grips in silver black Dymondwood. Here is a vendor link and another photo of my three J frames with similar grips:

I use a DeSantis® SOF-TUCK™; works really well as a tuckable or conventional IWB..........

Here is a review on Galco stow N go 158.

I bought one at local GS for our 442(same as 642 but blued). It has a reinforced top lip, is suede leather and works great.
The rig/pistol will not disapear completely if you are one who must have the shirt tucked VERY tight but its close, but for $25 it works for me, is comfortable and fits the firearm perfectly.

A little more expensive but I would look at the Crossbreed Minituck. Tuckable, comfortable, and adjustable.

I own and like Remora holsters but have never tried there new tuckable one.
