i'd say a G17. I had the G19 and the grip wasn't long enough to consider it a full size. I hindsight i wish I had bought the G17 to go with my G26. I ended up trading the G19 if that says anything.

The G19 does everything that the G17 can, at least for me. You can actually add the 19 to your carry rotation too. The 17 is just too big for anything other than open carry or range use. These are both wonderful guns, but "carryability" seals the deal for me

I totally agree with you on this as the G19 seems just as accurate as the G17 as well.

I believe the hump is the same on a 26 as on a 17. However the 19 is the best all around gun.

I voted for the Glock 17 for what it's worth. However I usually carry a 19.

I have a G17 (first Glock) and added a G26 later. I carried the G17 concealed often, and never had a problem with it. I would probably go G17 so you have the two extremes, and fill in with the G19 later. I now carry a G36, FWIW.

Glock 19....because it can take a 15 rounder, 17 round G17 mag, and a 33 rounder. G17 can only take G17 and 33 round mag. Plus it feels more balanced to me than the G17.
