Show off your worn service and concealed carry guns!
Hey guys, I'd really like to see some of the well worn work horses you guys have been carrying. The more wear the better! It would be great if you can share a short story about what it has been through, and how many years of service it has provided. SAFE QUEENS NEED NOT APPLY!
Sorry, all my guns are brand new. Once I've owned them for 24 months, it's time to trade. The wear and tear of holstering them every 24 hours renders them obsolete and unusable. If I ever have to use my weapon in SD, I want it to be like NIB.

I like my guns to be proven, reliable and like family! Good tender loving care of my guns keep them happy and healthy! New ones can be cantankerous, fussy, and needy (like a new baby).
Good cleaning, oiling, and a new set of springs on occasion will keep them happy, and give you what they want when you want.
I see, so posting pics of new guns and discussing recent gear we just bought is cool, but asking to see worn/used guns is too personal and ridiculous? Sorry to offend everyone.......

We all discuss how we would react in hostile environments and defensive scenarios; that is more personal than showing what gun you carry, IMO. I believe there was a thread that asked to show how and what you carry, Didn't see any posts objecting that, just alot of belly's. Id much rather show of my pretty guns, though.
Why not. Here's a 1960 S&W model 49. She has a lot of carry wear but still tight as can be. I bought it used and it was already well carried then. I've just continued to add to the character. Shoots great too.
I keep mine in great repair and my oldest weapon is a Ruger GP100....shoots very very well and really no wear. Well made/maintained weapons look pretty no matter what.
