I wish you would quit posting new pictures. It just gets my juices flowing, desiring another to go with my 4" 19-3.

I think of all the S&W revolvers, the best were the old K-frame .357Magnums. Too bad they don't make them anymore. Mines was a 4" M66. I did have a short barrel M19 once but preferred a 4" barrel. Great combination of weight and firepower. They balanced well in the hand. As OP mentioned, could reliably hit cans at 50yds and beyond with the SA trigger. I can't do that anywhere as well with my Glocks. Unfortunately, I made the switch to semi's for CCW and sold it to a friend many years ago.

Great revolver! I had a 6" barrel Model 19 I sold to a friend of mine years ago. I still don't know why I sold it, was my first .357 purchased back in the early '70's and a great shooter. I had to purchase the gun from an out of state dealer since the NYSP were going to them and none could be had locally.

Great pics, great targets, great story. Nothing like a solid wheelgun to make you enjoy every shot.

Congrats. The 4"ers are about perfect, and the snubbys aren't too bad either. Use it in good health.

    Nothing better than a nice Model 19... except a couple nice Model 66s (66-7 4" and 66-1 2.5").

I keep finding myself carrying my 66s more and more with a backup Model 10 or 442. Keep shooting your K-frames and DO NOT tell everyone how great they are because I do need a couple Model 19s to go with my 66s.

Great shooting. I have a 4" model 19-5 as well. Classic lines for sure. I am now looking for a snubbie 19. I think they look great!

I wasn't a real fan of the snubbie model.... but my next victim will be a 4" python in blue when I find the right deal... because at those prices, it needs to be right.
