    Kel-Tec 9mm automatic

"Zimmerman was wearing a red jacket and blue jeans when he came across Martin on that night. He was a neighborhood watch member carrying a Kel-Tec 9 mm automatic pistol, according to a police report?" (emphasis mine)

What witnesses say in the Trayvon Martin case - CNN.com

Where can I get one of those automatic Kel-Tecs? I guess it must be a new model, since I've never heard of it, right?

Not everyone is a gun expert. I'm sure they hack knitting stories too and those forums go freaking berzerk!

I'm okay with journalists getting it wrong. I just hope the actual police report didn't say it was automatic.

Pf-9 " Semi-Auto" has been around a while. I have one bought new last year. I use it for CC. Price new should range from $240-$320..most any gun shop would have one or know where in town you could get one.

Yeah, I know about the PF-9 "semi-auto". I was just drawing attention to the fact that the article called it an "automatic".

oh oh..haha sorry i misunderstood. Yeah the media gets it wrong on purpose or by not even caring to research the facts. Like when they call bullets "cop killers" and use words like "spray" in describing a gunfight.

I think he's referring to this thread: http://www.defensivecarry.com/forum/...n-threads.html

But since you were talking about the retarded media I would think/hope you'd be just fine.

Look on the bright side...at least they didn't decide it had to be a Glock since it was 9mm. According to many journalists, there only seem to be two guns in the world: Glocks and AK47s.

"Automatic" is technically correct. Like the .45 ACP...Automatic Colt Pistol. All it means is that it loads "automatically."
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

I have a Ruger Automatic Pistol. Some call it a MK1 but it truely says "Automatic Pistol" on the gun.

So in reality it ain't a big deal. Kind of like when folks call magazines, clips. Who gives a crap, we all know what they are talking about.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
