That's a classic! If I ever run across a good deal on one I will def pick it up.

Yep. A classic and a great little toter for a pocket in the summertime. It's interesting that it fell in the middle of the model revision and was marked as it was.

Sweet looking little snubbie, love the classic S&Ws.

Even you would have grabbed it up at the price I got it for.
You got lucky again OS. Good on ya. I always seem to wind up paying too much. I wonder why that is.

Do you mind if I ask how much you paid?

Wmhawth, believe me I have paid to much in the past for guns and sold them at a loss.
Sometimes I just had to have it at the time and didn't think straight.
Rollo, I paid $325. I am comfortable with this and have no intention of ever selling it.

Found one several years ago...
I found a model 60-3 similar to yours a couple of years ago and bought it for $500. It was unfired and in the original box, being sold by a retired LEO who had bought it from a dealer going out of business. I have kept it unfired, since I have other J frames which I shoot. It is a beautiful little gun. Congratulations on your acquisition.

Wow - what a great find! You're going to love those grips, BTW.
P.S. - I have a closet shelf stacked to the ceiling with about 15 OEM gun boxes. The long gun cases tale up too much room, but I've hung onto the box and paperwork for each new handgun I ever bought. Considering I have yet to sell or trade any gun I ever acquired, this might just be a waste of space!

I know when buying older model S&W's the box adds 10-15% onto the price in my area. More on some of the rare models.

Here is a little Lady 60-14 that I picked up last month at my local for $400. Not sure what age she is. Not too old I don't think. Had to have her worked on but she now is 100%.
