Another excellent vid. I've heard the East German Mak's are the nicest example.

I got one and my sights are adjustable, what a tank of a gun. I have owned a lot of guns and this is the strongest one for the money. I have had mine for some 20 years and got my CCW permit with it shooting a 250/ with 50. The sights suck and I wish someone has some replacements but without some machining it’s not happening

    They're still great pistols. :D

I don't know that I personally would carry one given the other options that are out there. What I do know is that many people do carry them. One of the key reasons people carry them is their reputation for extreme reliability and accuracy. It's true, they work very well and are extremely accurate for such a small pistol with marginal sights (on the military models).

There are lighter, smaller and more powerful options though. I carry a CM9 or P380 when I want something smaller than my G19 (which isn't often).

The draw to this pistol for me is its Cold War heritage and nostalgia.
