Hammer fired or striker fired ?????

Just a little poll asking "Do you prefer hand gun to be hammer fired or striker fired ???" Personally I like hammer fired for some reason, but have both kinds. I would like to see what other people prefer. God Bless

I have both as well. I choose my tools on merit and how I will use my tools. All of my tools fit me well and I'm adept with them. Granted, I used more with hammers back in the day, and use more striker fired these days. Personal preference now and the way current tools are designed. Which do I prefer? Doesn't matter to me so long as the tool I use accomplishes the task at hand.

Glock, so I guess that means striker.

I shoot both and will continue to do so, besides revolvers aren't striker fired.

If you pull the trigger and the weapon goes bang, and you hit the target, then it does not matter....

I prefer hammer fired, however on work days I carry a striker fired gun due to it's size and weight.

Don't forget about that pesky 1911 and weird single action.

I'm trying to figure such a claim out myself.

To me it's more about how the pistol feels in my hand, now naturally it points, and how comfortable it shoots. Whether it's hammer or striker fired is not a major issue.
