We went to see The Avengers movie Saturday (Great movie by the way. Easily one of the best movies I have seen and for sure the single best comic book super hero movie ever made. They will have a hell of a hard time topping it, or even matching it) and most of the Government agents were carrying and shooting Glocks. (Of course, when they raised them, the typical sound of a gun being cocked was heard.) but then Nick Fury pulled his sidearm and I noticed a difference. Old Nick was using a S&W M&P. I suppose because it looks futuristic compared to the Glocks. Whatever the reason, I definitely noticed the gun.

SHIELD agents always carry the best.
I American and I Ameriwill!
Yeah, the slide serrations were hard to miss. Then my kid says (none too quietly) "HEY DAD! THAT'S THE SAME GUN YOU ARE CARRYING RIGHT NOW!!!!!"
Yeah I noticed Nick Fury's ( Sam Jackson) gun, and also thought it was an M&P. Good movie.
By the way, for those of you who have seen the movie, I was pretty sad about Phil.
SPOILER!! DUDE come on...don't know anything about a Phil, but hope that was a joke
i was very happy to see the m&p get some screen time. made me feel like a proud parent :)
Samuel L. Jackson was not carrying a S&W M&P, he was Carrying a &@%!&er @%*&@ing M&P

Looking forward to seeing it myself.

you'll know phil when you see him, he's in thor and iron man 2
I too noticed that.
LOVE when they're all standing in a circle ready to fight and it's a bunch of big guys with big weapons then Scarlett (who was looking super fine) with her little glock. Just kinda funny.
Will see the show today and keep my eyes open for the #@$%^&* M&P!!
Chicken Little? Who the heck is Chicken Little? And what does she know, anyway?!

I haven't made it to the movie yet, yes EPIC failure for a comic book fanboy. No more spoilers please, alter your life for my needs. Saw the clip in the preview with Black Widow and her GLOCK, kinda chuckled but it's what I'd want if I wasn't the HULK, had repulser rays, or weild Thor's hammer (not even gonna try to spell it).
