do not morne death but celebrate life
I'm not even going to vote because
A. I hate Kel Tec aftter my experience with a PF9
B. Your signature already answers your questions.
don't be a glocktard- a gun guy who can only answer glock to any gun question
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.
Assuming that:
1. Your keltec is proven reliable.
2. You are not visiting a hish risk or moderate risk area
I would recommend the PF-9. Lighter, easier to lug around, and you don't have to worry so much about something happening to your preferred glock 19.
When traveling, I always prefer the highest capacity possible. Call it insurance.
I guess I don't get the significance of "being on {your} feet" for 13 hours. Isn't that a normal day for most folk? A moderately light gun such as a Glock shouldn't be an issue, provided you use a decent carry rig (belt & holster).

It's just hard to beat a Glock-19!![]()

You have never lived until you have almost died. For those that have fought for it, life has a special flavor the protected will never know
Seriously?
I don't mean to crap on your parade, but if you seriously cannot select a firearm to use on a given day or for a given event, I am wondering how you got your CCW to start with. Do you ask for suggestions on what you wear to work every day?
Maybe it's me, but this type of thread is the most inane and time/space-waster of anything I have seen here.
Perhaps it would be better for you to only have one gun.
Wow, tooldawg99, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? Who wasted more of your time, the OP for making the poll, or you for replying?
Some folk "know" what they think is the best choice but use this forum as a sounding board to see if there is a point they did not consider.
Possibly to you, me and everyone else on the board the poll is irrelevant. To the OP it was important enough to spend time putting it up. That should be respected, even if you don't agree.
Remember, you can always skip on to the next subject.

Well said RoadRunner. My wife thiks I'm "wasting time" whenever I'm on forums such as this.
I voted the G19. Either way, at least you're covered should the need (hopefully not) arise.

My Glocks seldom see the inside of a safe, while the Keltec only gets to leave on class day. I let students fire it, and none have ever asked me if they could re-load and run another magazine. The Glocks, otoh, are sometimes difficult to pry from their hands.

I would take them both. I carry Two Guns, Reloads, Flashlight, Multi Tool, Phone, Pepper Spray, Wallet, Money Clip and Keys. All Day every day. This is in Casual Clothes. If I had to ware Dress Clothes I sometimes alter the carry load a bit.
If you trust them both, the PF9 is obviously easier to carry and conceal.

I would take both too just because of my recent trip to Dallas. There were times where I got into the wrong area and really wished that I had more than my TCP or 642. However, because of the nature of the trip, there were times where the TCP was all that I could carry and wouldn't have been able to carry my XD. I just bought a locking car safe for next time to keep what I'm not carrying at the time safe and also available if I'm driving in the car.
