Any love here for the Browning BDM?

It was my first pistol and now that I'm doing CC I've noticed the old BDM might not be a bad carry gun. 15 rounds and 1" thick. Just wondered if anyone else had or liked them?

I bought one new when they first came out. I always liked the pistol, and it has always shot very well and been reliable, and I think it would make a great carry gun. That being said, the only problem I would have with using it as a EDC is that the safety is "backwards" when compared to the 1911 that I am more used to.

I also own a BDM. I like it.... 15 rounds and as thin as a P35. I have no problrms with it as long as it's maintained. I do carry it when working security details. The backwards safety was an issure when I first got it but since then I've gotten used to it.

They came out between 1991-1993 because I actually worked in a gun store and handled them often because I remember I liked the way they felt in my hand. Back then there weren't that many slim grip auto pistols besides the 1911 and some of the compact smith's. Never got one though.
