    Newly acquired Colt Commander

Picked this up in an auction a couple weeks ago. Lew Horton commissioned Colt named, the "Night Commander". Lightweight commander model, one of 250 or so made in the late 80's. Plan to shoot it Friday and decide whether or not to keep it.

Yes, neighbor it is growing on me. This one may push another one out of the safe. So far it's wining the race between the lightweight ponies.

Very nice Colt Commander. I love mine, although it doesn't have all the extra fancy stuff.

An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

Thanks fellas. I'm two days away from testing her. I've already detail stripped it and inspected the internals. Everything looks good with no unusual wear marks. It hasn't been fired much, probably less than 1000 rounds I would say. A few hundred more will be added soon.
