    PF9 with 8rd mag

I bought a PF9 a year and half ago as a truck gun but found with my large hands it was hard to really hang onto even with the pinky extension. So my question is this , anyone with large hands carry a PF9 with the 8rd mag ? is it a better grip w/the ext mag or the pinky ext? Or is it the same ? Thanks

The 8rd mag adds about an 3/4" to 1" to the bottom of the pistol's handle. It makes quite a difference. I had one (until I got rid of my PF9 to buy my Mosin/Nagant 91/30).

I got the 8 round extended mag on my PF9 and like it very much. No problems with it. It pretty much fits like the S&W Shield extended 8 round magazine. Right now they are hard to find as many people are buying the extended mag for their PF9. God Bless

That actually is the part of the grip when it is inserted and when it is inserted it completely matches the squares up so it looks like it has always been part of the grip.

Not so hard to find, if you know where to look. JoeBob Outfitters (where I had bought mine) has them in stock ($29.95):

    Kel-Tec PF9 8 Round EXTENDED Magazine - PF9-808

And if you want to convert an existing one to the extended ($12.95):

    Kel-Tec PF9 +1 Mag Extension for PF9 - PF9-805

Get them for all of your PF-9 mags. It allows for a more comfortable grip with the pinkie.

The only problem that I have now is relearning how to shoot with the new grip! For me, having the extra round & a more secure grip is worth the re-education.
