    Kimber Trigger Question...

I purchased a new Pro CDP II recently. There is a hole through the trigger that I assume is access for an adjustment screw. There was no literature with the gun that mentions it, so I'm curious exactly what that is for. Does it adjust the amount of travel, pressure, etc? I would like to lighten the trigger up just a bit, but figure that's not what its for.

I hope someone has tinkered with theirs enough to help.

    Thanks

The hole should have a allen head screw inside for adjusting the over travel of the trigger. Sorry I don't remember the size but if it's adjusted wrong ( to far in it will prevent the trigger from releasing the hammer) it should be adjusted to stop trigger travel a fraction after the hammer release's

    Thanks for the info, Frosty.

I thought that was the purpose of the adjustment screw since I've had rifles with similar setups. You would think they would include a couple of sentences about it in the owners manual.
