Just picked up my new Sig p938 Nightmare edition
I have and love the p238. I got on a waiting list a few months back and got the call yesterday from a store in suburban kansas city that they had a 938 if i wanted it. Ill post pics in a bit (not home yet) but so far it feels identical to my 238, only the slightest bit thicker grip and just a tad longer out the bottom of my crossbreed holster (all my 238 holsters fit fine)
Going to range tommorrow. Will report then! I think mine is the first in KC, since only a few of the biggest sig dealers got the initial batch, and this store only got 3

There's actually one called the Nightmare Edition? I thought you were having issues with it lol... Hope it's a shooter, congrats!
Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

So jealous right now man! And if you were closer I'd punch you in the ear for not posting pics already.
Just kidding of course... but hurry up with the pics or I'll find you.

I believe that I own the Hi-Point C9 "Nightmare Edition".
(It's at the factory as I type this.)

wanted to see pics, hurry, I love my P238 gambler the 938 is on my short list but if I had the opportunity to get it would have to pass spent too much money and have to put another kid thru college starting in Aug (last one) and bought a M/C, kimber 8400l, and colt defender in the last 4 weeks
I would rather live my life as if there is a God,
And die to find out there isn't, than live my life
As if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
God Bless

I wish they would have made the grip on both the 238 and 938 just a little less chunky.
Looks sharp. Looking forward to seeing how it runs.

Its only a touch longer than my 238, and BARELY has a thicker, front to back, grip. I set it out vs some other compact and full size pistols in the last pic for comparison.
(L to R, top to bottom) FN FiveSeven, Sig P238 with extended mag, Glock 19, Beretta NEOS with Red dot, Sig p938 standard mag, and FN FNP45 Tactical.
As for firing, it is a bit more of recoil, but not bad at all. Same sight picture. Same trigger. I put the regular mag back in the 238 for fair comparison of the grip.
Used a few types of 9mm ammo (Aquila FMJ , Federal FMJ, Winchester FMJ, Hornady Critical Defense). No FTF or FTE. Did around 150 rounds.
I really like it. Essentially it is the same as my beloved 238 with a little more oomph of a 9mm. The added kick was barely noticeable. I was equally accurate with each
Also all my holsters work (Crossbreed mini tuck, uncle mikes IWB, a wallet/pocket holster.)

Bark'n,
It was a brief shooting trip , but as i said, essentially the same as the 238, with only the slightest bit more recoil.
