While I've been jaded by some bad Kimbers, I have to say the Super Carrys are pretty fetching.

Nice set of 2" 1911s! great photos
VERY, very pretty pistols, great pictures. I have a Kimber Ultra Ten II- great ergonomics, but what problems have others experienced with reliability issues with Ultra short-barreled 1911's?
I have an Ultra CDP II, it is my daily carry and has 700 flawless rounds thru it. I wish I could have said the same about my Colt Defender,
but that was the 'smith's fault, the gun was flawless before he got ahold of it.
Nice photography! Sorry, my Ultra CDP/LG is too scratched up from holster wear to post a picture.

Love my Kimbers not one problem. Gorgeous photos.
We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -
Really like those pics, especially the first one. Like MOST Kimber owners, mine has been flawless since shot #1.
I plan on my next 1911 being a Kimber Ultra. I currently carry and shoot a Compact CDP II which has been flawless through about 600 rounds and is more accurate than I am.
A man, without force, is without the essential dignity of humanity. Human nature is so constituted, that it cannot honor a helpless man, although it can pity him; and even this it cannot do long, if the signs of power do not arise.
Welcome to the DC Forum from Delaware! Nice photos, beautiful guns.
