For home defense a Mossberg 500 Persuader with tactical stock and night light. Since it's hard to conceal and against NC law to carry anyway, I CC a G23. Love both of 'em.

Since I now live in a town house and it is close quarters, for home I keep the Judge close at hand but my carry gun is either XD45 or 40 plus wife has her 38 and can get to the 40
EDC: SW99 9MM; Home defense: SIGPRO 2340 .40 cal. and AR-15 w/ lights and laser.
For those of you who doubt 9MM for stopping power I would suggest good shot placement and modern defensive ammo is more importantat than caliber.
In terms of handguns, no, I do not have a dedicated HD handgun that is different to my carry guns.
However, I do have a dedicated HD gun in my Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun.
I keep two Kimbers in my nightstand-

And there is either a Benelli M4 or Sig 556 next to my bed (both have tactical light/laser vertical foregrips)-

yep. My home defense is full-size 9mm. Carry is a compact or pocket 9mm.
My every day carry goes with me when I leave the house and stays with me everywhere in the house day and night. For me, one gun eliminates potential issues with grip, trigger control and sighting, at a time when you could least afford to be concerned or about such things.
Yes, I have 2 carry guns (Glock 26 and Springfield XD-S) and 2 home defense guns (Sig P229 w/ Streamlight TRL-4 and Kimber Super Carry Pro HD)
I will be adding a Tactical shotgun and an AR sometime in the future.
Yes - I have a M & P Shield for CC and a Glock 23 with a Crimson Trace Lasergrip for HD. My Sig Sauer P225 is in the vault.
Carry Taurus 605 HD S&W 65-2 and M1 carbine
I carry my SR9c whenever I am working or out around town, with a 17 rd mag in my door pocket as a reload. I keep my seven shot 357 loaded with 38+P under the bed and my SR9c on the bar at night. I also have a Kimber that I am learning to shoot and it will enter the equation in some way soon? Now I need a shotgun!
Carry a G26 and it goes on the nightstand with 15 round G19 mags close by. Mossberg 500 with 00 buck under the bed. :danceban:
G21SF for HD w TLR-1S
G19/ P228/ Nano for EDC
All glocks have rubber talon grips

This is my first post and I'm just putting together my home defense armory but my thought was to initially stick with the same brand or type pistol if you will. That way I'm familiar with whichever gun I grab, dedicated HD or carry, even under stress and have mags to fit either gun interchangably. I just love having that high cap mag sticking out of my carry G27. Of course what I'm planning on doing is putting together a belt or tactical harness that I can strap over the pajamas (if I wore any) right before I grab the pump shotgun and could hold both pistols with multiple mags, light, cell phone and all the other necessary items I'm reading about in these posts.
I carry Glock 27 for CC carry or a Sig P229 open carry among others, but my home defense pistol is a Beretta PX4 Storm with 230 lumen tac light mounted. Firm believer in the tac light for home defense.
