My "house guns" include my small collection of 1911 pistols, an EAA in 10mm, an old Ruger Service Six, and a S&W .357 (asides from the small clutch of pistols that go in and out of my concealed carry collection, Kahr ,40, Walther .40, S&W 908s, NAA in .380 and the two .38s and occiasionally my old Star BM) I have a couple of long guns for practice and hunting but when it comes to Home Defense I prefer either my Ithaca 37 or my old Stevens 12-gauge. I'd rather not use rifles on account of having neighbors nearby and sending a .30-30 winging out into the night during a potential scenario doesn't sit well with me.
