Yes, because my home/night rig is set up for a USP (36 .40's is mighty handy for that bump in the night ). Been trying to find a good duty-belt holster to fit my Dan Wesson revolver correctly (that I like) but it's been a pain so far.
Mossberg 500 12 gauge standing in the corner loaded with 6 and wearing 6. PPS 9mm x14 manned on the other end of the house.
Most of the time I'm wearing my SP101 on the belt or a smaller snubby in the pocket 'til bedtime.
If that don't take care of things... well, it was nice knowing ya'll.

Yep. I conceal carry a Sig P238 and protect my home with a Beretta PX4 Storm. I sleep good at night.

I had separate guns for years, but started weaning down the collection. I had lot of pistols that i didn't carry. So now my 2 carry guns also serve as nightstand guns. Glock 26, but I have some extra 15-round magazines. Excluding the handguns, the 870 is always in the bedroom.

Glock-36 on the nightstand, and a Glock-21 w/SureFire x-300 in the nightstand drawer...

Glock 23 w/TLR1 for me as an EDC and as a HD (always on my hip when at home during the day and right next to me when sleeping). It's the only gun I can honestly say I can run and fight with unconsiously.

I carry either a Glock 26 or 17. Both have and will continue to serve nightstand duty. It just depends on which I was carrying that day.

Glock 26 is my carry gun and Glock 19 is my night stand gun. My night stand gun is only there to get my to my Remington 870.

Yup, for CCW I’m either carrying my Les Baer “Stinger” or my Walther PPS-9, for HD I keep a Walther PPQ-9 with mounted Surefire X400 in a V-Line vault in my nightstand. I really like the X400 for if “things go bump in the night” and I forget to grab my glasses. Also, the PPQ-9 carries 16 rds, and my wife is more comfortable with it than my SIG 220ST. She wasn’t thrilled with either the .45ACP or the DA/SA conversion. I’ve got 2 Walther PPQ-9s, so one sees range use/occasional CCW and the other remains set up for HD.

Yes. Carry firearm is thin, lighter, less doodads. HD pistol is larger, light and red dot attached always.

No reason carry pistol can't server both duties, but as others have mentioned, any excuse to buy another firearm is a good one...actually...who needs an excuse :)

When I get up in the morning I strap on what I'll be carrying that day. It remains on the whole day. When I go to bed it gets locked away and I have a Ruger Service Six in my night stand for a night time defensive gun.

I have a CZ SP01 that does not leave the house, though it may go on a road trip sometimes. 19+1 and two spare mags, light always attached, and in a gunvault.

I carry a PT709. The nightstand has a 1911 .45, the closet is only a couple of steps away with a PX4, AR15, and the 709. And the Mossberg is setup in this...
