    You ever wash

    your carry gun in the laundry? I have been lurking here for a bit trying to decide what ccw gun to go with and this just popped into my head. Com-on now, fess up.

    Well so far, my wallet, car keys with $75 clicker, lighters, and Halls cough drops, but no gun. Probably happen sooner or later.

    Now this guy knows how to enter with style.

    But nope, I've never washed my carry gun. Even the pocket pistols. FWIW, it wouldn't really hurt it to run one through the wash, just make sure you disassemble and dry it well afterwards, followed by lubrication.

    People washing there guns, people having there gun in the holster fall off there waist and not notice. Arent we suppose to be responsible with are weapons?

    I can only surmise that you feel you are so absent minded that you are concerned that if you pocket carry you might leave your gun in your pocket when throwing your pants into the hamper. If the foundation for such concern is a history of misplacing your belongings and finding them where you least expect to, you might want to reconsider carrying.

    Just be sure you use Oxy-clean and you'll be okay. Oxy-clean won't harm the finish.

    True, I neglected to account for those as I don't personally use either. The gun itself would be okay though.
