Ruger 3" GP100 Wiley Clapp 1st range trip

Well I got some spare time yesterday and took my 3" Wiley Clapp GP100 for its first range trip. Shot 100 rounds without a hiccup. I must say that this pistol feels like it was custom made for me. The shape of the grips fit my hands perfect. Right hand, left hand, both hands it just works for me. Balance is superb. Aims like an extension of arm. Sights are wonderful. So far there is not a single thing I don't like. I also took my XD45c along for a little workout. It also did its usual perfect job. Never had a malfunction from it. I must say I do shoot the XD a bit better but I think that will change as I get a little more time with the Ruger. Here are a couple of pictures to keep the juices flowing.

I saw the original picture you posted of that 3" GP100. Very nice. Glad to hear it shoots as good as it looks.

Nice job, and nice looking Ruger. Isn't it great when you find a gun that molds to your hand?

An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

BugDude that reminds me of an old joke.
Two sailer's are walking down an alley. A hooker says to them "come up stairs with me and I'll give you something you've never had".One sailer elbows the other and says "what do you think she has leprosy"

Now that reminds me of Hotel Street in Hawaii back in the 1970s or MA1A alley in Okinawa.

Grab one if you get the chance. I am so enamored with this gun. Just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling each time I pick it up.
