M&P - Which Did You Get?
Curious what the ratio will be... with safety or without? I ordered mine with a safety, just a little added piece of mind when it's in my Smartcarry. Besides, my Shield has one by default so I wanted them as similar as possible.
I do train with the safety on so it's a natural movement when drawing.
I see a lot of M&P photos with the safety, so I'm expecting a pretty close poll here.

Both of mine have safeties. I try to train in unison.

No safety on mine... Have used Glocks for years so no external safety was no issue.

No manual safety for me on any them. Wouldn't scoff at one with a mag disconnect... but I wouldn't buy one with any other safety.

If one had been available without a safety I would have chosen that. But the only one available when I wanted it was one with the safety (traded someone on our local forum for my Glock 23 which I had traded my FS M&P45 no safety to my brother in law for). It isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have been getting used to sweeping it off when drawing and putting it on before holstering.

WHEN I get mine I will look for and prefer no safety, but would not consider it a determining factor in my decision, especially if the price is right. When that happens, I will post pics, but don't hold your breathe I have a large "list"

Without it.... at least my full size don't have one. My shield came with one by force.

With safety. I removed it after owning it only 10 minutes. They don't make a full sized M&P45 FDE without one.

Since I got my full size M&P before the Shield was even released, I bought the full size without a safety.
The Shield obviously has a safety so there was nothing I could do about that when I got it.
Had I known about the Shield at the time I bought the full size, I may have gotten my full size with a safety.
