    My new XDm 9mm ( pics )

Picked this up yesterday and was excited to get it out today for a few rounds. Shot about 150 rounds 9mm 115 grain federal through it. No malfunctions of any sort. Gun has a great trigger, but the sights were a little different for me. I got used to em though. Overall I was very pleased with the gun. Not sure it will replace my kimber ultra carry II but will see its fair share of carry time.

Congrats man! Great looking gun! My brother has one and it has been pretty good to him. It wouldn't fire last time at the range, turns out he put a lot of oil around the firing pin and didn't wipe it clean so it gummed up. User error in my opinion.

The sights seem to sit a little higher for me and makes it hard to get on top of. I am really big about trying to stay in a pattern of what kind of guns i get. I am a big believer in muscle memory and being a creature of habit. Anything around the 1911 format makes me smile. Not that I don t own any others but that is what i shoot, carry and instruct with. The XDm was suppose to have some 1911ish features that is what drew me to it. I have a shield on order but it may take while for that one. Really like the feel of the one I held, don t know how long it will make it in the fold.

Very nice. I put Truglo TFO's on mine and like them much better than stock. Good luck!

I have the same in black, the ergos are fantastic and as a result it is my most accurate pistol. It will need a heck of a lot more time to prove no questions reliability that my USP and Glocks have but there is no reason it cannot earn a spot there. Enjoy it, the XDm is really a fun gun to shoot and serves competition and SD purposes @ the barrel length you have.

nice gun, I just traded my brother my XDM45(all black) for his black over OD XDM9. it is strange, the first couple hundred rounds I could barely hit the broadside of a barn from inside the barn but now I'm hitting 4" plates at 30 yards with it. I never had that problem with either of my XDM45s... I love XDMs with a passion....congratulations on yours.
