Ruger LCR wth Tamer grips and XS night sight

So for you guys with the LCR with the Tamer grips and XS night sight... How do you like it? I love mine. I have not had a chance to shoot mine in low light yet but in daylight it is awesome. I have been carrying in a IWB Theis holster and you really do forget it is there. What a great carry revolver.

How does it shoot with that Hogue boot grip? I guess what I mean, is I've heard that it's harder to stabilize vs the original grip that came with the gun.

Got a down payment on one with a CT laser grip...can't wait to go pick it up!
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

To me it shoots just as well. I have had all three LCR grips on my LCR's and they are all about the same. The Crimson Trace has just a little more felt recoil. I like the Boot Tamer the most of all three. These revolvers were made to carry all day long. Plus they are alot of fun to shoot,

does the hogue boot grip also have the gel that absorbs the recoil? i read that the original hogue tamer grip has one infront and one positioned at the web of the hand.

The "Tamer" grip really aids the control when firing it, but adds to the bulk. The "Boot" grip is the answer when pocket carry is the mode of carry IMO.

The boot grip is not sticky like the normal Tamer grip. So your shirt will not get grabbed by it when carrying concealed.

For me the boot grip just doesn't work. Too slick and too small for a controllable purchase on the gun. All that can be said for it is that it conceals well. The Tamer is the way to go in my humble opinion.

My LCR357 has the Tamer Grip and I installed the XS Night Sight. 3000 rounds later, most of them 357, I couldn't be happier. It's my favorite carry gun. It works in most pocket's. Lately I have put my SP101 away and the LCR357 is in the waist and I let my 442 back it up in the pocket.
