    what cha think?

of course we'd do the trade in a well lit wal-mart parking lot
outside of that small town in AL where ther fix the elephants teeth.

She doesn't want a safety on her gun. Wish the shield had a removable manual safety like the M&P9c!

I'm not trying to be snide, I'm geniunely curious, if she likes these 2 best - why are you looking at other guns? She's most likely to carry and practrice with what SHE likes.

I've talked to one owner and 3 gunsmiths and they all told me the safety isn't removable.

I'm not. All they had at our range was an XD and it's super hard to find a Kahr K9 at a gunshop for her to see.

Keep tapping away at your key board and you will home and find your wife has bought or ordered what she wants. Not what you want her to buy. Give her 600 bucks for a gun and see what she brings home. If she can shoot and likes the kahr then tell her to orderone. Gun shop probably could have had i by now.

Going with the Glock 19 Gen 4. My wife was completely turned off to the Springfield after the FTE's we had at the range. I explained the differences between the XD and XDm and explained how piss poorly most range rentals are taken care of but she couldn't get over the mental hurdle. G19 is a better gun IMO anyways.

Sorry, it has a safety. If you would've read above it says she doesn't want a safety.

The Ruger P95 is a fine weapon. And quite a bit cheaper than the cw9 plus its a poly frame will help avoid damage like crushing a cell phone screen and back strap scuffs from keys and all of the mysteries of a woman's purse

indykid: thanks for letting us know how things turned out. Glock 19's are fine guns, and my personal favorite from the Glock line. i was certified as a Glock armorer for a total of six years (not currently, however). great firearms.
