Well my buddy has a .357 Mag that is a 8 shot, he say it's model is TR314. It's has about 3 boxes worth of ammo through. All black with rubber grips, tapped barrel and a nice trigger job. It's 5 years old and has the original box I.e. the aluminum case with the role locks. He wants to selling for what he paid for it -$1,050. Thoughts?
That's too high of a price for a used firearm. It's still "used" with only 3 boxes of ammo through it. AND it's not much less than you could buy a new S&W Performance Center firearm for.
You can buy a spanky new S&W Performance Center STAINLESS Model 627 - 8 shot - .357 Magnum - Adjustable Rear - Gold Bead Front - Tuned Trigger etc... $1,249.00 and possibly get it for less from a high volume dealer.
Offer $850.00 - $875.00 and if he says "no" then walk away unless you absolutely can't live without it.
Chances are he'll be back when he tries to sell it to a gun shop and they offer him $500.00 - $550.00
