I did get the black version. Just really liked that from a looks and concealment perspective.

I checked out the Max Con V. Looks nice. Any thoughts on comparing that with a Galco SOB?
Without even getting into a discussion of the issues with SOB holster the Max Con V isn't even in the same class as the Galco. The only thing a Galco holster has going for it is that you can get it right away. Galco is assembly line production at near custom prices.

A Max-Con V is by far and away the best holster between the two. Actually the Max-Con is my number 1 prefered holster to carry. Either Gary told me or I read where he said that it took him 10 years to perfect the MC-V. Galco holsters are decent but not in the same class.

I currently have two MC-V's that I use to carry daily with and I have two Def-Con's OWB holsters on the way. I like them very much!!!!

I am a big fan of the Kimber 3 inchers. I have a Ultra Carry II, and consider it my primary carry gun. I have never had a problem with the functioning of this gun, and the extractor has worked flawlessly.
My brother carries a UCDP, and same results.

--people ask why I carry, and I show them this picture. I think it says it all.--

I fully agree with yellowv and Ti Carry, there's no comparison between Galco and Brommeland. The only use I have for off the shelf holsters is to hold me over until my custom order comes in. Order a Max-Con V, when you get it you'll see the difference for yourself.

    I'll check it out.

Thanks to everyone for all the help.
