    Glock 19 question

I am looking to get a new CC gun. My wife and I share an LC9 currently and I am looking for something bigger that will also be a better range gun to shoot for longer periods of time. I have had my eye on the gen4 Glock 19 but I wanted to make sure it would be concealable enough. It fits great in my hand and I think it will be perfect I just wanted some thoughts from those smarter than I. 9mm is where I want to stay I just wanted to make sure the 19 would be plenty concealable for EDC.

I carry a G30 everyday with no problems with an IWB holster at the 3:00. It's about the same size as the 19 except it's thicker. You should be good to go with the right holster and belt. The G19 is going to be the next pistol I get. I will defiantly use it as a carry weapon if I don't feel like carrying the G30. My wife lets me shoot her 19 and I'm always impressed with how accurate it is and how controllable it is and how well it feels in my hands.

Well, how concealable it is depends on a lot of factors. Namely your body type, clothing style, holster selection, and belt type.

Can you make it work? Yes. But, it depends on the factors above.

FWIW, I currently EDC a full sized Sig 220, without any problems.

I doubt I'm any smarter than you but I find the G19 to be perfectly concealable with the right holster paired with the right clothing. I rotate a Don Hume 721 for OWB with an American Holster leather IWB and a Remora on certain occasions. The G19 makes for a fine carry and a fine range gun.

I have to carry at closer to 4:30 or 5 because of my shape but what I have tried seems to conceal well back there. Thanks for the quick responses guys.

What he said. You can conceal pretty much anything. It's a question of what concessions your willing to make to do it.

    I'm 105 lbs, 5'3", female and little..

Here I am concealing a G19 and 2 spare magazines.

    It's very doable.

Gen 3 GLOCK 19 in a Crossbreed Supertuck all of the time. I don't tuck because that is how I roll. I don't wear form fitting clothing because I don't want to have to carry a stick to beat the ladies off with, keep your shooting hand free and all that.
I don't anticipate my carry gun ever changing at least until GLOCK makes a single stack pocket 9.

Hmm been looking at a G 19 then found the G 23 that could be a 40, 19 and a .357. Makes the 23 very attractive. Good range gun also.

I like the Glock 19 and Brommeland Max-Con V EDC set-up so well I'm linking a video about them:

That Glock-19 will make you an easily concealed, dependable, and accurate firearm...enjoy!

I like the 19 and in keeping with the 9mm platform. Once you get a 19 you may want a 26. Just like the 19 but Just a bit smaller.
