Sold my Taurus PT145 Millennium Pro .45 ACP today and promptly went to my favorite pawn shop/gun shop and picked up a Sig-Sauer P2022 .40. Can't wait to shoot it this Friday!!!

Good going. Not to disparage Taurus (although I'll likely never own one due to two people close to me having issues with theirs) but you stepped up from a Volkswagon to a Cadillac.

I wouldn't call the 2022 a Cadillac. Good gun though and just about anything beats a Taurus.

It wasn't about describing it as a Cadillac, but describing the disparity in quality.

More like upgrading from an Adobe to a Cadillac. And yes, I would call the 2022 a Cadillac. Just because they're inexpensive compared to other sigs doesn't mean they aren't equally as good in every way. They are BY FAR the most underrated guns on the market today.

    Good choice.

PS... friends don't let friends but a Taurus.... you should have melted that POS.

    Yeah.. Audi's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Bugatti's, Bentley's, SEAT's, Skoda's, Man's, and Scania's.

I'd have to say that Volkswagen makes some pretty awesome stuff actually. Most (all) of it is a pain to work on, and is expensive, but their quality has skyrocketed in the past 10-15 years. Unlike Ford, and GM...

Congrats on the upgrade but I never understood why people feel the need to bash one brand over another. I have only fired a few taurus's but I never met one that I didn't like. I know a couple of taurus owners that really like theirs and I have considered a PT1911 a couple of times.
