Finally Got My XDsc To the Range

At the beginning of summer I decided to sell my LC9 and bought an XDsc. I rented one before I bought it, but with 5 kids home for the summer hadn't made it to the range. Since I bought it I only put a couple rounds through it in my backyard (rural area) and have been DYING for some range time. Today the kids headed to my parents for a few days so when hubby asked what we should do tonight I immediately said "let's shoot!"

I had the best time! Put 100 rounds through it flawlessly and would have bought more but hubby was ready to go eat. My hand didn't ache like it did with the LC9, I shot better than I ever have - the whole trip put me in the best mood! I'm already planning a trip back Monday since ladies shoot free every Monday and the kids will still be out of town - and hubby will be at work so I can stay as long as I'd like!

I had to laugh, my husband likes revolvers and is always bugging me to shoot his. I have no interest in it, I really like the autos. Tonight he asked to shoot mine and after going through a magazine he handed it back to me and said "I want one of these!"

I have the 40 and have been extremely happy with mine added a crimson trace laser and a pure kustoms holster. Has been no failures with this weapon since I've owned it I'm guessing I have around 700 rounds through it or so also try the pinky extension on the compact mag make a big difference on grip. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine

I'll keep the pinky extension in mind Missourian - to be honest I love how it feels in my hand as is.

Taseal - I've got the subcompact, not the s, so I have 13 rounds in my every day carry magazine God forbid I ever need that many!

For me this was a great day!

I can't wait to get back to the range! Target 8-11.jpg

Nice choice Lish! Love my XD9sc. Accurate and reliable since day one. Attached is a photo of mine with pinky extension and TractionGrips installed.

Yep, you hurt him! I love my SA XD40 SC, put it in a Pure Kustom Black Ops Pro and forget it's there.

Actually I'm thinking it could be a way to get the XDs if I "let him have" my XDsc - he doesn't have his permit so I'd have my choice of guns to carry!!

If you get the chance to shoot the XDs, jump at it. My XDs definitely shoots differently then my XD.
