Congrats on the new addition! Looks like it means business. Most of the 1911s I see look real pretty.
Also not knocking the pretty 1911s :p

Great choice and very nice holster to boot. In a 1911 it is hard to top the CCOs for carry!
Chose a weapon that goes bang EVERY time!
My Crimson Trace Master Series Rosewood grips arrived today. I put them on and headed for the range. All I can say again is WOW!!! It's unbelievable how well this pistol shoots....much better than I can hold it. These groups were shot just resting on the frame of my shooting lane at 7 yds. After lining up laser with sights, the top group on the target is the first 5 shots with the laser....then adjusted down and the second group from top is the next 3 shots....then adjusted elevation and windage and the 3 in the center were the last adjustment. Excuse the dirty pics...I was still at the range and pistol was pretty dirty! Fired another hundred rounds with zero hiccups! This pistol in INCREDIBLE! Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with it. I shot several magazines full of my carry load, Double Tap 185 grain Gold Dots and they functioned well slow fire or as fast as I could get on target and shoot. Dan Wesson has definitely made a believer out of me!

Just an update now that I've been carrying my CCO for a week......I'm amazed at how easy it is to carry in my TT Gunleather......compared to my Kimber Pro Carry HD II which is quite a bit heavier.....not that the Kimber was uncomfortable to carry with the same holster and belt. But you can definitely tell the difference in the weight, especially after 10-12 hours! Needless to say, I'm very pleased with this pistol.

Such a beautiful gun. Glad to hear you like it. I'll be checking out Dan Wesson thanks to your post. Adios and God Bless.
I'm so jealous. This is on my list of "expensive" 1911's I have to own. Great looking gun!
Super nice there.
DW, CT and Double Tap?
You have great taste in firearms and gear.
Can I use one or two pics on my CZ GUNSTUFFs DW section?
