Ruger LCP Modifications HD VIDEO
I am really enjoying my Ruger LCP and made a couple modifications to it, a magazine extension and a Hogue grip. Fortunately, it has done nothing to change the carry/conceal factor, and has made it more comfortable and, most importantly, helped me control the pistol better.
Have you made any mods to your LCP? If so, what are they? How are they working for you?
Here's the HD video.

Did the same thing to mine. +0 mag extension and an after market grip sleeve. Don't remember which make, but both of those mods together make it noticeably more comfortable and accurate to shoot.

Pretty much the same for me. Just got the gun used a few weeks ago, it came with a finger extension on one mag. painted the front sight and bought a used CT grip from someone on here. The CT is pretty sweet. This is a replacement carry gun for my girlfriend, and boy I like her having the laser. Feels good having this setup for her to carry.

I painted both the front and rear sights with some zombie green sight paint. Now I can actually see them.

Good post! I was not aware of that type of slip-on grip was avalilable. Mine wears a similar Hoague grip (the # evades me) but it has to be trimed a bit (a paper punch works fine) to notch out for the mag release. Good fodder, Amsdorf, and thanks for taking the time to post.

Dude...you are so missing the point.
I have a G26 with an extended magazine and Crimson Trace grip on it. It's great to have when I can carry it.
There are some times when all you can carry is a LCP.
I'd rather have a pocket full of .380 AUTO than 9mm in a gun safe back home.

not LCP bashing but when is it? my glock is a shade bigger then an LCP, holds 4 more rounds of a more powerfull round with almost twice the ft lbs of enegry W/O the kick and better sights.
come on over... we have warm cookies....
I just got a used copy of gun digest (2008) and Massad Abooy shows a picture of a atm .32 and a glock 26 together and asks the question....what would you rather have?
some people are sold on the LCP and I bought one too thinking it was a good gun so much I had a buddy buy an S&W BG until we had a mishap and seen a light. Caliber wars will always be here but I am talking over all everything. Power, kick and conceal-ability

LCP is über-concealable. It's a tradeoff - no one thinks the 380 is a better caliber than the 9mm. But I think Ben Franklin said it best: "an LCP in ye pocket is worth 2 Glocks back home in ye safe."
Back to LCP mods - do the Hogue grips work with Crimson Trace?

Are you kidding? A Glock 26 full loaded is a LOT heavier and it is a LOT larger than a LCP. There is no way I can carry it in my pocket as I can the LCP. I'm not arguing that a 9mm is a better CC weapon, but I can not carry one all the time like I can the LCP.

That's great you can dress like that. I can't. Now, get over it, and move along, ok? You've made your point. You've been told several times nobody disagrees with you about 9 v. .380. Stop derailing the thread please. Thanks.
