Get a Colt New Agent .45 with clip draw added. Get off the safety deal.

G30sf and if 10+1 rounds aren't enough then you can use the G21 13+1 round magazine.

Being a 1911 person the word Glock leaves a bad taste in my mouthbut ,based on your stated options, I would pick a Model 36 and a spare mag.

A anything in the Kimber ultra family works for me.

I previously posted and recommended a Glock 36. But another good alternative I have used is the Colt Defender.

I really really like my PM9 and it carrys so easily it's nuts. However, my other gun is a heirloom Colt 45 Commander that I won't carry for concern of the law taking it away if I ever used it. I am a huge fan of 45 but hate carrying extra mags, even the 9mm. So when comparing 45's as you are, capacity was a big factor. I was surprised to learn the grip length of the G30SF is the same as the PM9, but the capacity is 10 vs 6rds.

The larget thickness is no big deal and it conceals very well. I do recommend getting a 2 clip IWB holster to spread the weight on your belt and I chose the Garrett Fusion because the clips are closer together than many other brands yet makes the extra weight a non-issue.

Now I have pretty much retired the PM9 but will hang onto it until soceity settles down a bit. I guess I could revers the cant of my Silent Thunder for the PM9 and carry it cross draw as a back up, but nah... I don't need it with my G30SF on the other side.

XDS. Been very pleased with mine. Easier to carry than a XD-9sc, g26/27/19/23, or any other comparable pistol.

My other favorite carry would be a 357 LCR
