Yesterday, I was at Bass Pro doing some Xmas shopping. I was going to get the XDS til they said it'd be a two hour wait and pointed to everybody waiting on firearms. Ill post a thread shortly with pics of what I did end up coming home with... :D ;)

I just picked up a XDs about a month ago as my daily carry. Handles the recoil of the .45 great and I literally forget that I'm even carrying it sometimes. 400 rounds through it so far 0 issues!

Another XDs owner/vote here. I just love how this thing is so easy to carry.

Springfield XDS is a good choice. I have had mine for about a month now. About 400 rounds of 230 FMJ, 230 gr Lead TC, and 200 gr Lead SWC with not one problem.

    G30sf or G36...

Glock just came-out with a G30s. Haven't seen one yet but it's suppose to be a bit slimmer then the standard G30/G30sf.

Maybe Block put it on a diet and it slimmed-down & lost some weight

Best Sub-Compact .45 for Concealed Carry

I carried a G36 for years. Loved that gun a lot! Recently I've gone back at a 9mm. Just couldn't afford to shoot the 45 enough to feel I was proficient with it. Switching to a 9 let me about double my practice rounds. But the G36 was sweet for CC.

I've carried all three G30sf,G36,and now carry a XDs. IMO the G30sf is just alittle to wide for me in a IWB. The G36 will carry very comfortably in my Mtac Iwb. I'm carring a XDs now w/7 rd mag and a spare. If I need I can carry w/5 rd mag. The weapon is easy on recoil, and runs VERY well. (No Problems @ 750 rds) I did install night sights on it.

I carry either a G30 or a G36. Nice thing about the G30 is that it will take G21 mags.
