Good lookin' gun. When may we expect a shooting report?
What's that shorty shown in the "family" photo?

Nice addition to the 1911 collection.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

I hit the third one and I see they have a new Springfield Range Officer and I made the mistake of asking to hold it. (can anybody relate?) This gun has been in my wish list for some time so when I asked for the price I get a "well is marked $825 but today, for you... $725 and.....since you are military, take another $35 off" I was like, where is the hidden camera? This must be my lucky day! I double checked finish, tolerances, ramp and barrel and gladly paid $690 for this beauty.
The family keeps expanding!

Congrats! Very Nice! Yes, I can relate, especially when it comes to 1911s.....

My youngest son bought one of the Range Officer's, and what a gun, it's a dream to shoot and dead on accurate!

I was very impressed with how tight the tolerances are on this pistol. I am very particular about that when I purchase a 1911 and this one is really tight. I cleaned it last night and compared it to my Dan Wesson and I although my DW is tight, the RO feels even better. Can't wait to go shoot it this weekend. I had some VZ zebra grips in my spare parts so I dressed her up a little.

Very nice. And a good price to boot. I've been considering adding a Springfield to my collection as well.

Looks great with the zebra grips. Congrats on a successful and healthy lunch! I know everytime I consider or buy a pistol I think "I should lose some weight so I can fit this one iwb too"
