    Glock 26 = <3

So for the first time I fired a glock 26 gen 3 today at the range and boy, I loved it. Only sent 50 rounds down range but that was enough for me. The trigger on these things is a god-send. Very crisp and predictable break. Had one FTF but I think it was operator error due to an improperly seated magazine. Quick tap and track solved that issue. I tried one with the extended magazine grip and it felt great in my hands. I currently have a taurus pt111 millenium pro and the glock is slightly fatter than the taurus but nothing crazy. I love glock. So much so that I just purchased one on Auction Arms. Cant wait for it to come in and make it my new edc gun.

Good choice, I have had my Glock 26 for about 3 years. The easiest pistol to carry, and with the largest capacity for its size and weigh.

I agree. I've had mine for about 10 years and have CC it on and off. It's been a great gun and I highly recommend it.

Thinking about buying one of these as well. I have no Glocks and have never been a fan, however I have tried hard to find an alternative that holds at least the same #s of rounds that is not any larger, and I've failed so far. Figure I will go to the fun shop this weekend and look at a few things in person to be sure, but the 26 seems likely at this point...

I love mine so much, it needs a friend (Glock 19) and maybe even a pocket friend (S&W 442).

I love my G26. It's the prefect package of size/capacity. I don't feel under-prepared when I carry it as my primary. I don't like the extended mag, and it's not needed in my opinion. It's very shootable as is, even with +P's.

So a pretty common reply to the thread, and I have to agree. I've only had my 26 for about 1200 rounds, but it has been flawless with factory and handloads. Mine especially seems to like 147 gr bullets; they have a nice recoil impulse and, in my pistol, are more accurate than 124 gr. For a 9mm carry, the G26 hard to beat--surprisingly accurate for a short barrel, super reliable, and easy to conceal in a decent holster in most situations. With a back-up mag from the G17 or 19 and you would be carrying more ammo than I would hope you ever need in an emergency.
