Congrats on the new pistol. Man, you have a serious 1911 problem. You need a 12 step program or something. Lol.

Thank you. I was doing good after the wife put me on a rehab program but I recently sold one of my motorcycles and I am having a relapse!

Ive got a question about the sights. Why so forward on the slide? Its something Im not familiar with, usually I want the longest sight radius available on the gun. Something to do with concealed carry, drawing, or maybe carrying with hammer down one in the chamber?

Thank you sir, I am very exited about this one. I had been looking for about a year and finally was able to score and at a very nice price too. Thats always a plus!

When the engineers develop the concept, the pistol was not intended to be carried in condition one but to be cocked with your thumb or non shooting hand. They didn't want the sights on the way so they moved them forward.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.
