I've had a 9mm V3 SK for several years. It's uber accurate, a pleasure to shoot and devours every kind of fmj and jhp ammo I've fed it.
The P2000 SK is a very fine handgun by any measure.

They are excellent handguns. I had one in .40 S&W which I traded. I disliked the LEM trigger. I much would rather have had one in 9mm and with a DA/SA trigger. Either way I think you have a great gun.

Wondering: How does the paddle mag release strike you? Easy enough to reach, release? With fingers or thumb? And how's the accuracy? Got pics?

I am actually a huge fan of the German style mag releases like on the Walter PPS and this HK. The reason is that its nearly impossible to pop the mag out inadvertently while the gun is holstered. I have no problems hitting it with my thumb on either gun, and sometimes will actually pinch it, thumb on one side, index finger on the other. In my opinion, these releases are superior to the buttons, plus they are ambidextrous by default.
As far as accuracy, I posted some of my initial target pics on page 1. The gun shoots dead on where the front sight dot is every time. I'm very impressed with it, definitely one of the nicest handguns I've ever owned.

Finally decided to ditch a couple of guns that were laying unused in the bottom of the safe to take the edge off. :)
Wow. Exact setup I just ordered today.

Nice gun! I'd like to shoot an SK sometime; all I have are a few lousy P7s. Enjoy!

This is definitely the HK that I would buy if I had the funds. I love the size and the looks. Just can't get past the price tag, though.
Hope you enjoy it.

I can get passed the price, but momma can't.
For $800+ pistol it should eat a couple different calibers IMHO
If I ever hit the Big Bucks no Whammy, I will obtain a few HK's.
OP,
thanks for the pics, it looks to be a terrific shooter, and glad you put the snub in there for size comparison.

For the price, it ought to be able to make fries and double as a ladder. But still, it's an amazing little pistol. It'll certainly eat whatever it's fed. And that's a lot more than many pistols can claim.
