    Would you sell this gun?

I know there are those with the ideology that says, "never sell a gun", and thats fine with me, however, I want your opinion on selling this gun to replace it with a Colt Delta Elite. The Sig is a nice gun. I just don't fire it that much and there are other guns I enjoy shooting more. I have the wood grips that go with it and it is 100% functioning and pretty close to that over all. The ammo cost difference is not an issue and I guess that I have always wanted a 10mm, just for fun range gun and a house gun.

Unless your beloved grandfather left you his WWII 1911 or some other treasured firearm, don't get emotionally attached to a firearm. It's a tool, and an unused/un-needed tool is a waste of space. If you want something different, don't use what you have now, why the heck are you holding on to it? Trade/sell it and move on.

Colt Delta is on my want list, just have not been able to find one. And I would sell it privately rather than trade.

Sure, you're getting a more unique gun to replace it.

Don't trade to a dealer though.

I'd sell it. Especially if you've got no further use for it.

Guns are like cars. Buy them, use them and when your tired of it, or it gives you problems, get rid of it.

If it's not getting much use and there is one you would really like to have more, then sell it. YOU are the one who has to be happy with what you own. I don't see much value in a gun that just sits in my safe (I am not a collector. I can see the value for collectors). The Delta Elite is a fine pistol. Sell the Sig, get the Colt, and don't look back.

Well said, Archer 51.... and I'm glad you didn't say "Guns are like wives...."

They come & they go. Tastes change & situations change. If you find you miss that gun terribly, you can get 15 more of 'em just like it before dark!

Sell. What is the point if you don't like/use it

A SIG P220 for a 10mm Colt Delta Elite? If that's more down your alley, sure ... why not?

I'd do it in a heartbeat.

If you have no attachment to the Sig, then why not?

I've had a 220 and many Deltas. Delta all the way and if you can get a gold cup even better!
