    1911 Springer Champion

I looked in the safe this weekend and found two revolvers I hadn't shot for a long time (Uberti SA .45 Colt I've ahd for ~10 yrs and a high mileage S&W 15-2).

I took them to the local pawn and gun and traded them for a US GI light weight Champion.

I didn't have that barrel length 1911 and the sights are fine for CCW. I ran three mags through it this evening in the pasture with no hiccups.
Nice little 1911. I've changed the grips to a smooth Coco Bolo set.

I know I'm nuts but I like my Springer Champ so much, I'm thinking about getting another one!

Nice, after careful research and feedback from Bud, I picked up a SA loaded Champ LW in OD and blk bi tone. I have all but retired my USP F .40 since buying the SA.

Indeed beautiful Airdale! Just got my Champion back from Rhome; heavily modified in many good ways, but shoots like it looks - great!

Just dumb luck on my part. I saw it at a Sportsman's Warehouse, took me three weeks to come up with enough loot all the time knowing it had to be gone... but it was still there!

Yeah Bud, I think the grips are new this year. I tried a couple different pairs and went back to these. They feel pretty good!

The SA Champion is a great gun. My wife and I each have one. (dueling pistols)
