What's best mag for Kimber CDP?
I just bought a Kimber Ultra CDPII. I heard the standard mag isn't so good; and I believe it because it loads so roughly.
Anyhow...what's the better mags to get? The Wilson Combat or the Kimber KimPro TacMag?
I've heard nothing but good things about the Wilson Combat, but the KimPro offers the totally flush base plate.
Please advise. Thanks!
The OEM Kimber mag that came with my Custom CDP II functioned poorly, so the gun now enjoys Wilson 47D and ETM mags. The KimPro mags seem to have a better reputation than their standard issue, though.

i've been happy with Wilson or McCormick mags in my Kimber Gold Match.

I use McCormick shooting star mags have had no problems since.

Wilson Mags on my Ultra CDP II ... I got a KimPro Tac Mag no problems either but I usually stick with the Wilson Combat Mags on my 1911's

I've had real good luck with the KimPro in my Ultra CDP II and most of my other sixteen 1911s
I carry a .45 because having to shoot twice is just silly!

I have replaced all of my Kimber mags with Wilson Combat 1911 magazines and they run flawlessly!

I haven't had any issues with my stock Kimber mag, but when I bought extras I went with the Shooting Star mags. They have worked flawlessly. This makes sense, since, if I remember correctly, Chip McCormick actually helped design the Kimber pistols.
