    My Dan Wesson .357 6" Barrel. I don't shoot it much anymore but it still feels at home in my hand.

    Rented a PPQ a couple of months ago, and it is a sweet shooter. On the other hand, I was far more accurate with my CZ Custom Shop SP-01 Tactical, and a little more accurate with my CZ PCR. Of course the PPQ is very fast, the SP-01 is much heavier, and I have far more trigger time with the czech guns...

    That is 3 round from my 44 mag at 50 yards. Once I found the load that it likes (240gr hard cast SWC, federal mag primer, and stuffed full of h110) this gun has been extremely accurate. I would say what kind of revolver it is, but i'd have to read a bunch of replies about how all "brand x" guns are pieces of crap. :)

    It is my favorite gun for hunting deer in heavy brush, and for busting hogs. I step up to 310gr for the hogs, and typically get complete pass through on the front shoulders. Without a doubt, one of my favorite guns to shoot...even if it isn't a "cool" gun to have!

    The most accurate centerfire I ever shot was this one. I don't often save targets but this one was too good to toss in the trash. Supurb match trigger, great action and a long radius. Other HKs, Walther, Sig, Kimber, Colt and a bunch of others are all very good, but none could do this. FWIW, I doubt I could again either with my aging eyes.

    Of course the Elite isn't a good choice to carry. Of the carry appropriate guns I have, the Beretta 84 and HK P2000sk have delivered outstanding accuracy for many years.

    The most accurate handgun I own is my 6" Python. That thing can shoot out the black of any target out to about 20 yards, offhand. Next accurate would be my Kimber Custom Target. I consistently win bullseye matches with it. Coming in third would be my Browning Buckmark. It contributes greatly to my bullseye wins.

    I prefer Smith & Wesson revolvers above all other brands but have to say that the most accurate handgun I've ever fired is a 1957 vintage Colt Officer's Model Match .38 Special. It slightly whips a Colt Gold Cup .45 and a Smith & Wesson Model 14 K-38 Masterpiece and it even eats the Colt Python for lunch.

    SmokinFool;

    Didn't see your post just before this one. I'm referring to my 6-inch Python not necessarily yours.

    Leaving the rimfires aside as a totally separate category, the most accurate centerfire pistol I own is the Sig 220; a close second is the Kimber CDP Custom II (both .45 ACP). "Accuracy" as established by shooting from a seated, sandbagged rest.
